Fire Ravages Gallery

NEWS FLASH
Late Tuesday night , November 7th 2006, a devasting fire ravaged the historic 19th century saltbox carriage house
that was home to "the Artists gallery" and "Boat Meadow Gallery" in Dennis. Ma.
Most if not all of the artwork in the gallery has been
either damged or destroyed. All of the members of the gallery share the
sadness that our gallery, renovated and upgraded in the spring of 2006

Plans are already being worked on to find another location.

Our next door neighbor gallery has graciously offered our galleries exhibit space through December 22, 2006

Offering a wide variety of original Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor and Pastel works and artistic photographs by our gallery artists, we also have a working Jeweler producing gold and silver original designs at the gallery. Note and greeting cards, reproductions and pottery are also available for the discriminating consumer.

The Artists Gallery is located on scenic and historic Route 6A (the "Old King's Highway") in the Dennis Village area. We are housed in a unique salt box barn. The gallery is set back from the road with a large parking area.

Art Walk & Exhibit 2006 page - We are looking forward to this summer's series of self-guided "Art Walks" from July 1st through September 9th. Last year's walks were wonderful, with many people strolling from gallery to gallery, visiting the shops and stores in Dennis village, enjoying the warm evenings and chatting and visiting with our artists. This summer the walk has been expanded to two nights a week- Thursdays from 5-8 pm in the East end of the Village and Saturdays from 5 - 8 pm in the West end where our gallery is located. Whether you are a summer visitor or year round resident, please accept our invitation to visit us , and bring your friends - make a night of it!

Each week during the summer we feature a different artists work. See our schedule of Featured Artists - and look for the Red mailbox on Route 6A in Dennis Village. Come see ...
