ill titleWelcome to My Art Gallery

My name is Melissa Hudson. This is my wonderful website and art gallery where I present to you my creations of art. I just love wildlife art and portraits and I've been drawing them for over fourteen years.

Wolf in the WoodI have a studio where I create all my drawings, and you can see these works of art in my gallery pages. There is a wildlife gallery and a portrait gallery for you to look at. You can even purchase a print of your favorite drawing with a mat and frame, ready to ship anywhere you wish. Custom orders of family portraits are available as well and I have had many satisfied customers who love my portrait and wildlife art for many years.

ill titleAbout the Artist:

I started drawing when I waas thirteen, and I experimented with many different media and styles of art. Being a self taught artist meant that I had to spend alot of time and effort in drawing and studying art which I enjoyed! I was blessed to have a chance to draw for many people when I went out and bought my first easel and took up drawing in the streets, like so many other artists have done. I worked in St. Augustine Florida from 1998 to 2002 drawing charcoal and pencil portrait sketches and selling prints of my wildlife art. It was an experience that I will never forget! Nowadays I spend my time in my studio where my loving husband encourages me to keep drawing and doing what I love. White Lion in Color Prencil

Most of my drawings have been created using Prismacolor color pencil, and photographic reference. The style of my work is called realism, because it seeks to present an accurate and realistic work of art that is dimensional. I also enjoy working with pastels [using Windsor and Newton pastels] and graphite [using Derwent pencils]
