One of the few players who has currently survived the arrival of Gary Faulds, having signed a two year deal in 2005. Alan is a midfielder of immense talent who can turn games with his ability. He was very highly rated by Shettleston, who only let him go following a retention error which allowed both Alan and his brother John to move to Dunterlie. While with Kilmarnock he was capped twice by the Scottish Professional Youth, playing against Norway and Israel.

Having departed for pastures new at the start of last season, intially with Pollok and then with Kilwinning, Bryan has returned to Barrhead to (hopefully) fill the void
