Development to date:

If you would like to be part of the team that constantly develops and improves this race car then please get in Contact!

picture of the engine

When i first started racing the car in 2006 i had a personal best of 21.60 seconds on the 1493cc engine. In 2008 i managed to get my personal best to 18.50 seconds on the new 1641cc, even though the engine had one or two problems!

My goal for the 1914cc is to have the car consistantly in the low 16's or maybe even the high 15's at a push! This should keep the interest of the spectators and will be a real thrill to drive the car that quickly down the track!

Drag Race Experience to date:

My race experience to date has been limited to 'Run What Ya Brung', but now i feel ready to race competitively. I have had experience of competitive racing as i was a crew member for another VWDRC team during the 2008 season and therefore understand the preperation that is necessary during an event. This preperation is not just about ensuring the car is mechanically sound, but also as the driver i need to be mentally ready and focused on achieving my dream....

to be the Rookie of the Year 2010!

The Rookie of the Year award is given to the driver that amounts the largest number of points in the VWDRC Championship during their first season of racing, and due to the nature of this award i only have one shot at it.

If this sounds like an opportunity you would like to take up then please get in contact via the 'Contact' link on the left of this page.

In return for sponsorship i will be offering advertising space on the race car and on the support vehicle, as well as a linked advertising banner on this website. If you are a business and are looking to make a financial donation this can attract a tax benefit. Any financial donations from a sponsor would be put towards the cost of the entrance fee, i hope that you would agree that in order to reach a large number of people the car actually has to be on the track! The cost of entering races is the biggest obstacle to any racer, however any form of sponsorship is gratefully received.
