The Writer's Bloc originated from a group of Summer Honor Students at Taylor University in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Recently, the Writer's Bloc has expanded its membership to include other Christian writers who seek to glorify God with their works.

Head Editor- Lydia Rule
Bio: Lydia Rule has been published over seventy times in magazines and online publications. Her book, Devo's2Go has recently been released. In her free time, she is working on her fifth novel. She is also an Editor and Marketing Consultant for CollegePlus. Lydia enjoys devising ways to make her book characters miserable, antique shopping, and adding to her collection of geodes.

Bio: My name is Ben Armstrong. I am a Senior majoring in Professional Writing at Taylor University. I enjoy humor writing and am currently working on a romantic comedy and an epic humor piece among other things. I love haiku, specifically the haiku master Issa.
Bio: My name is Jordan Binkerd. I'm the ultimate Star Wars freak, but also enjoy reading Star Trek, Tolkien, The Wheel Of Time, Ted Dekker, Peretti, Stephen Lawhead......the list is endless. I love to read, and am currently working on my first novel. I'm a senior in highschool.
Bio: Leah Crothers enjoys playing the piano, playing softball, and reading in her spare time. She loves sports, especially baseball, and she writes commentaries on sports-related topics. Leah is enrolled in the CWG Apprentice course and is also interested in accounting and alternative health.
Bio: Laura F. is a freshman in college who writes for teens, children, and adults. She's been published in 'God Allows U-Turns for Teens', Encounter, Purpose, Keys for Kids and other magazines and e-zines. Besides writing, Laura enjoys singing, reading and serving at her church. She is also the editor of Diamond Dust magazine (www.freewebs.
Bio: Stephanie F. is junior in college, and she enjoys writing for all ages. She has been published in Teenlight Magazine and several e-zines. When she isn’t curled up with a book or working on a new idea for a writing project, she likes to explore the outdoors, take photographs, and scrapbook. She is currently the co-editor of Diamond Dust e-zine.
Bio: Jamin Goecker’s a military brat. He has been that way since he turned six and his dad joined the Air Force. He has viewed life from Oregon , Montana , Texas , and Alaska . Bio: Raymond Hsu is a freshman in college. He is currently very undecided and does not mind at all. He also enjoys listening to SportingNews Radio at night.
Bio: Benjamin Lehman loves movies, music, and books. These areas of the fine arts have inspired Benjamin to write. He is a senior in high school and plans to major in Professional Writing and/or Pastoral Ministries. He also enjoys playing soccer and playing the piano.
Bio: Amanda McCann is a homeschool student who will graduate this year. Her spheres of interest are eclectic, spanning classical literature, martial arts, and current events. Her future career as a writer is still unfolding.
Bio: Jessica McLean is a senior. She has been published through Creative Communications and in Around the Bloc. She loves all types of writing, but particularly enjoys fiction and poetry. She is currently working on a variety of writing pieces ranging from essays to novels. She trusts her cat, Shadow, for writing critic.
Bio: My name is Christa Mullen. I am a senior in high school. My favorite novels are by Tracie Peterson (though I would read almost anything). I am currently writing two novels.
Bio: Katie M. is a senior in highschool who plans to attend Taylor University and major in Professional Writing. She loves God, art (writing included), people, and chocolate.
Bio: Lynda Rule enjoys music, reading, art, and basketball. Her favorite subject in school is math.
Bio: Besides writing, Maddee loves to run and play the piano (most of the time) and listen to music while she writes. She has one younger sister. Next fall she is going to college and plans to major in Professional Writing.
Bio: Marissa Rule likes geography, ping-pong, and shopping. She is also a coffee fanatic!
