Biography


Ariana Lanchester is a college student from Southern California. She attends Fullerton College, majoring in Art History with a minor in literature. She is inspired by feminism, revolutionary artists and writers, and african artists. Her internship at Zenith Gallery in washington DC during the summer of 2004 helped influence her love for art as a career, as well as museum curating.

Ariana's love for portraiture is a reflection of her love for the ideal human figure. She was raised in a creative household, and began drawing figures at a very early age. High school found her falling in love with Prismacolor color pencils, graphite, charcoal, and acrylic paint. In 2003 she was featured in the Student Art Gallery at Mt.San Antonio College. Her future plans include graduate level studies in Art History and Literature while entering more of her works in art exhibits.
