Osiya! Dtohitsu? Hello! How are you? I am called Shyla. I am a buckskin Alicorn as you can see. I was born out in the wilds of the Texas deserts. The language I just spoke is of the Cherokee language. I know the tribes of the Cherokee nation do not live out here in the state of Texas but Arien_Ravyn's ancestors carry the Cherokee blood heritage, and quite proudly I might add. So, I took it upon myself to learn the language.
There is so much beauty in the many tribes of the American Indian. The traditions, the many languages, the art... Ahh, yes, I am very happy amongst these people. They are like my kindred, my other family, my agidoi. Living among these many tribes, I have learned much about the way of life. I know to do the proper thing and give thanks when I take nourishment from the Earth. I always use what I take and I always give back to Mother Earth as well. She is sacred, she is my home, my aquenvsv.

//Family//

My mother was namedVertigo. She was so beautiful and so kind. She has recently passed from this world. A heart attack claimed her and it began because of the stress from the fact that a volcano was about to take our home from us. But she is still with us, even if she is in ghostly form.

My father is named JayDee. He's a palomino paint uni. His conformation looks that of the Quarter horse. He's very strong, my father. And very protective of his children.

I have a younger brother named Burner. He's a paint chestnut Uni. His conformation looks like that of an Andalusian with a little bit of Quarter horse in him. He left to visit our homeland but i've found him. And his mate. AND their daughter! I'm an aunt now it would seem!.

I have a Godfather. His name is Shetan. He's very mysterious. He's more then he seems. He's a Shaman but of what tribe, I do not know.

Nel is an adopted sister of Burner. Verti and JayDee adopted Nel awhile ago actualy. She's a very sweet young mare and is very protective of Verti and JayDee.

Iris is Burner's mate. She's a fiesty mare to tell you the truth. Her past is one of sorrow but since she and Burner have been together, happiness is all they have found in the Sundry herd.

Cherry is Burner and Iris' daughter. She's full grown now and spends most of her time avoiding her little brother. You know how little brother's can be...

Wind is Burner and Iris' son. He's a curious fellow. He's always asking questions but he loves to tag along after his sister, Cherry. Much to her displeasure.

//Immediate Family//



I met Rath when I first came to Neopia, looking for my family. He was very charming and kind when he heard my story and he agreed to help me find them. So nice of him! He was so handsome and dashing too and I couldn't help myself but to take notice. We went on one long and interesting journey together, I've logged it all in my journal. Well, as we went through many things together, I noticed that I started to have deeper feelings for him then just physical attraction. Eventualy, he was nearly all I could think about! We wound up in my homeland, the state of Texas and he helped to save our cheif. It was amazing... Anyway, some how or another, I found out he shared the same feelings for me that I had for him. And now... well... we're together! I couldn't ask for anyone better! I don't know what the future holds for us but if time is careing, we'll always be together.


Merry is Shy's first born son. He's just fun, happy go lucky, gets into things young colts should not get into. He's one of the two lights in his parents life.

Jessy is Merry's twin brother. He's just like Merry basicly. FUn, happy go lucky, gets into things young colts should not get into, just like his brother. He's one of the two lights in his parents life.

//Friends//


I met Fhinn while on my journey with Rath. Fhinn's a peophin. Something I had never seen before. He's Rath's adopted brother it would seem. A pretyt nice guy from what I could tell in the short time I met him. And he loks like he's fun to be around. If Rath likes him I know he's got to be a great guy!


This is the lady Doom. Once I joined the Sundry Herd, it's as if she and I sought each other out because of our healing abilities. She could sense what was inside me and took me under her wing as her student. She taught me all that she knew and sent me on to be an apprentice. I'm now a healer among the Sundry. I just hope I can do her proud.
