Update: 5/31/09- TEST RELEASE: Terra Lucis

The enemies have been made easier. ALL weapons and armor stats have been tweaked majorly. The opening script has mostly been rewritten. New facial expressions have been added. Tileset problems have been fixed. Castle has been added. New opening music is tenative and will change. The castle is unfinished, but finished enough for a demo release.

Things to come in future releases:
ENCRYPTION: Before I get too far along, the encryption on the files will be changed. Right now there is pretty much no encryption so it is subject to hacking into to edit the coding. Don't get too attatched to old save files; they won't work once it is changed.

Menu Screens will be changed to look spiffy

MUCH more custom spriting needs to be done

Movement will be coded differently. This will also corrupt old save files.

Text boxes will most likely be changed. 1/08/09:

RPG form of what this whole site is about. It's only the first stage unfortunately because it took so long to make, especially as I was figuring it out. There are a few glitches since the trial expires 2AM this morning and I didn't have time to figure out what was causing them.

1. The first cutscene is a wreck and I actually had to make a separate map because it was unfixable. If you talk to the guy on his left, when he tries to leave he won't walk out, he'll just vanish.
2. There may be spots where the character can walk up the walls and out into the nothingness around him.
3. When the boss moves after he is defeated, his sprite changes to a different one when he collapses. I have absolutely no idea what causes this and I tried for about two hours to find out what does.

Things I was too LAZY/TIMEPRESSED to do and will do once I get the full version:

-The SCRIPT WILL BE COMPLETELY REWRITTEN, as it is currently a vapid jumble of words that makes twilight look well written
-The General will have his own speaking picture thingy (All custom sprites eventually will but he gets priority)
-There will be a cutscene EXPLAINING things
-Cless will be resprited
-The three bosses will get their own sprites
-Change the title screen so its not just a bunch of Photoshop effects puked on a background

Report bugs/glitches/enemy issues there at the forum thing. I think all the encounter enemies are fightable. They're difficult until you find the other piece of armor/go up a level, then they're cake.

Oh, the forum is a disgusting lime green color, so put on some sunglasses before you go in. And you can ignore the little message too.
