Thank you so much we raised enough for one toilet….. …..and
a shed load of toilet roll – we raised £623!
When I think of
project SARIS all I can think is how would I feel if my little girl
had to go to a school where there was no toilet and I know Claire
feels the same. Ultimately that is what motivated us into
organising a “Curry 4 Toilets”. Thank you so much for all those
people in Area 3 and beyond for letting this be their motivation to
buy a ticket and come along!
89 people from 9 Ladies Circles, Area 23 &
Queensbury RT came along to support this fabulous
event which raised a staggering £623.
I received lots of text from people saying how much they had
enjoyed the night and one of those from Lesley Wood sums it up
for me.
“Thanks for a great do and it is fab to make a
difference for kids like our own but so far away n
living such a different life”
Thank you to everyone who helped in anyway but especially
Carol, Claire and Sally who helped me to set up & Michael for
keeping me calm, looking after the kids and picking up the beer!
Area 3 Thriving and Celebrating – the West Yorkshire Indian Dance Champion entertained a
packed crowd at Northowram Community Centre before a fantastic supper and dancing with Jeff the
DJ and it was all done in the name of International Charity and of course in the best possible taste!
In addition to fantastic entertainment we also had fabulous food.
Arthur Traveller the Travelling Chef provided a varied and tasty Indian
Banquet which everyone praised ‐ comments like excellent,
best Indian food I have had and wow! His number if anyone wants
to ring is 01422375942 – why not do your own SARIS Evening too!
