The ARC Christian Fellowship

The Church in the Wildwood

Welcome to our site

ARC stands for A Real Church,  we are simply a fellowship of Christian believers. An interdenominational body of seekers searching for a city whose builder and maker is God Almighty! Pilgrims and strangers making a journey to a land that Jesus said that He has gone to prepare, a place that is called Heaven, today we call it heaven, but tomorow we will call it home!

 Therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the Saints and of the household of God. And are built upon the foundation of the Apostles, and Prophets; Jesus Christ Himself being the “Chief Cornerstone” in whom all the building fitly framed together grows unto an “Holy Temple” in the Lord. In whom ye also are built together for a habitation of God “Through the Spirit.” {Eph. 2:19-22}

We are a five-fold ministry: And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: and the equipping of the Saints. Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

 Now hath God set the members every one of them in the body as it has pleased Him. Ye are the body of Christ and members in particular, and God hath set some in the Church, first Apostles, secondarily Prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. {1 Corinthians 12th chapter}

 That the “God” of our Lord Jesus Christ, “The Father of Glory” may give unto you the “Spirit of Wisdom” and revelation in the knowledge of Him. The eyes of your understanding being enlightened that ye may know what is the hope of His calling, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us ward who believe. According to the working of His mighty power, which He has wrought in Christ when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in heavenly places, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. And hath put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the Church, which is His body, the fullness of Him that makes full all in all.  {Eph. 1:17-23}

The purposes for forming this Church are:

  * To promote the gospel of Jesus Christ

·        To provide a place of worship for those people born by the blessed Spirit of God

·        To be soul winners in this wayward and sinful generation

·        To worship God in Spirit and in Truth

·        To establish a closer relationship with Christ.

 We are a non-profit organization not operated for the financial gain or the profit of any person or group of persons. All funds received will be used for religious, charitable, and educational purposes.

We beseech you brethren to know them that labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you, and to esteem them very highly in love for their works sake. And be at peace among yourselves. Now we exhort you brethren warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, and be patient toward all men. See that none render evil for evil unto any man, but ever follow that which is good among your selves and unto all men. Rejoice evermore, pray without ceasing, and in everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the Spirit and despise not prophecies. Being confident of this very thing that He who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

   Benediction: The God of peace, who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus Christ, that great Shepard of the sheep through the blood of the everlasting covenant make you perfect in every good work to do His will, working in you that which is well-pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever!

Prayer of the week

*The light of God surrounds me; The love of God enfolds me;

The power of God protects me; The presence of God watches over me;

Wherever I am, God is... In Jesus name!

*  I shall sing a praise to God; praise ye the Lord from the heavens,

praise Him in the heights of His firmament, praise ye Him all His Angels,

praise ye Him all His hosts, praise ye Him, sun and moon, praise Him all ye stars of light!

praise Him ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens,

let them praise the name of the Lord our God for He commanded, and they were created!

The prayer preceeding all prayer is, "may it be the real I who speaks, and may it be the real Thou that I speak to" C.S. Lewis

*Lord I pray that you help me fill my mind with good things, to sow to my spirit and not to the flesh...to set my affections on things above not on the material things here below!

*The Lark's on the wing; the snail's on the thorn: God is in Heaven...all is right with the world!

*Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights. Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts. Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light. Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens. Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created. He hath also established them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.
