Throughout history, music has had many faces. Imagine these on a totem pole, then imagine the totem pole collapsing and all the pieces mixing together, and there you have, The Watermelon Pigs.
The Watermelon Pigs are an experimental band that reside in the Liberal, KS area, where there isn't much of a music scene outside of the extremes of Blink 182 or Korn.
The Watermelon Pigs were formed when Dylan contacted a friend, Stacy Saythany, and proposed the idea of forming an experimental rock band. Stacy agreed to do so, and thus the W-Pigs were born. Sam, a drummer from one of Stacy's old bands, was later added to the mix.
The name came from text in an old picture Stacy liked and hoped to use in a band one day. There you have it, The Watermelon Pigs.
