A spirited Kerry Blue Terrier, Daisy is always ready for adventure. Her conformation strengths include an elegant headpiece set onto a beautifully arched neck, and excellent shoulder layback matched to an equally strong rear assembly. Daisy's physical soundness and high-drive personality enable her to excel in any type of competition. The photographs below illustrate the "textbook" perfection of her side gait.
During her brief but successful Conformation career, Daisy enjoyed many Breed and Group wins - she even won the Terrier Group her first weekend out as a Special. Owner-handled at all times, Daisy finished 2002 as the 3rd-ranked KBT female in Group points, and the 5th-ranked KBT female in Breed points.
In 2003 Daisy became a formidable competitor in the Agility ring, moving from rank novice to the highest level of competition in only eight months. On August 7, 2005, Daisy earned the coveted Master Agility Champion (MACH) title and made breed history: Daisy is the only Kerry Blue Terrier to have earned a championship title in more than 1 AKC venue.
In late 2006, Daisy ventured into the Rally ring and quickly earned Rally Novice title (RN). In February of 2007, she was the first Kerry Blue Terrier to earn AKC's new Novice Fast (NF) title in Agility. In April of 2007, Daisy completed the Rally Advanced (RA) title, and in May she earned her Rally Excellent (RE) title. On June 10, 2007, Daisy completed the Companion Dog (CD) title. Daisy earned each of these titles with the minimum possible number of attempts.
Highlights of Daisy's career include a long list of superlatives:
Daisy was also a smashing success in the whelping box, where she raised five beautiful pups - four females and one male, born May 16, 2005. Ch Fenian An' Mac is the proud sire of Daisy's only litter.
