When she switched to boys' baseball, she quickly fit in, especially with Jonathan Rheinsmith, a talented pitcher. Their team is a consistent winner-but can't seem to grasp a state title. With the varsity team in shreds, they're counting on Kate to anchor a championship team. But she's coming off a serious injury, and her relationship with Jon is going beyond baseball.
