Hello, I am April, and I am the artist for these beautiful babies. I have created many realistic high quality dolls, which I have sold locally, and have a number of repeat customers. I use my own special techniques, and paint with Genesis heat set paints, high quality mohair, soft stuffing and glass beads . I pay close attention to fine details, resulting in beautiful realistic collectable babies. I put many hours into each unique, one of a kind baby. I can truly say that I put my heart into each one, and enjoy the entire process of creating these reborn babies. You may order one of the babies that are already finished , or order a custom made reborn baby , in which you can choose the eye and hair color, sex, and whether or not you want a magnetic pacifier. There is another newborn added to the nursery! Isabella Rose is a precious wrinkly newborn who has had much love and time put into her rebirth. You would swear you were holdng a real infant when she folds into you arms! She has been reborn using my own special techniques, which have resulted in a wonderfully detailed collectable reborn doll. I have given her veins and capillaries, which are visible in real newborns. She also has the blotchy skintone that is so common in young babies. If you look closely, you can see subtle veining in her scalp underneith her hair. The hair and eyelashes are 100% soft mohair, which have been microrooted, and appear to be growing right out of her scalp and eyelids. It can be washed and restyled if you like,because it has been sealed from the inside with waterproof glue. Isabella's nails have been given a nice natural manicure. She has a bit of a runny nose (for that real baby look!) She also has a custom made magnetic pacifier. I have given her a new cotton body stuffed with soft polyfill, poly pellets, and tiny glass beads for softness and weight. Her tush has been hand signed by April Showers Nursery. Isabella will come home with her binky,birth certificate, tee shirt,diaper, yellow dress w/ matching panties, white knit nightgown, pink knit booties & matching hat. *** SOLD*** "Kenai Dakota" 4 lbs. 10 oz. 20 inches long. Reborn Birthday January 25, 2007 I am pleased to introduce my newest addition to my reborn nursery. Kenai Dakota is a Berenguer sculpt, and full of beautiful detail. I began with removing the factory paint, and giving him a Lavender bubble bath, so he smells lovely. His nose has been opened so that he can breathe, and backed with dark felt. He has been painted in many translucent layers for a nice medium skin tone. Kenai has veins, a wet looking mouth and a runny nose for that realism reborn collectors love. He has micro rooted hair and eyelashes which take many many hours to hand root, and deep blue sleepy squinted eyes. I have given him a natural manicure and pedicure. Kenai has fully jointed quarter arms and legs that move freely. His body is cuddly soft and folds into your arms, and is filled with the highest quality poly fill stuffing, pellets, and tiny glass beads. I have used Genesis Heat Set Paints, which I feel are the best quality paints for the skintone on these babies. He will come home with a unique birth certificate, Carter's outfit, green knit booties, and a blue hat. I opted to give him a real pacifier instead of a magnified one for those of you who cannot be close to magnets due to pacemakers,etc. Kenai is a collectors doll, and has been created with many hours of love and attention to detail.
