Sweet April's Breeze

We love the Chihuahua breed with a personal preference for the long-coated variety. Our Chihuahuas are our furry family, natural clowns and will entertain us just for the sound of our laughter. The more we laugh, the more they try to find ways to entertain us. They are also protective of our home, barking a quick warning of any intruders. They are bold dogs in tiny packages. Our affection is their number one need and in return they love their humans absolutely. Once we experienced the unconditional love, the unwavering devotion and joyful affection, we fell madly in love and just knew that the Chihuahua was the breed for us. We've been owned by our Chihuahuas ever since and we love sharing our experiences and photos with others.

 

Our Standard

We breed, first and foremost, for ourselves. We strive to breed for correct conformation, excellent health and sound temperaments. We scrutinize our breeding prospects through health screens. We strive to help our dogs become better companions through socialization and obedience training. Our dogs live in our home as cherished pets. Our puppies will always be raised in our home with tender loving care, stimulation and socialization. We are diligent in our veterinary care, monthly preventatives, proper nutrition and exercise to promote the ultimate health of all our dogs.

Our Health Warranty

Our puppies are warranted to be in good health at the time of sale. The Buyer has fifteen [15] days from the purchase and/or delivery date to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian (Buyer will pay all veterinarian fees). Failure to have the puppy examined within the above time limit will nullify this warranty. April's Chihuahuas (Seller) warrants for twelve [12] months that if the puppy is found to have any hereditary or genetic disorder in which euthanasia is recommended, in writing, by at least two veterinarians (one selected by the Buyer and the other selected by the Seller) due to the inability for the puppy to lead a pain-free, normal life as family companion, the Seller will provide Buyer with a replacement or refund.

There is NO guarantee made, expressed or implied, that any person requesting to buy a dog through April's Chihuahuas, or a dog posted on April's Chihuahua's Website, will automatically be approved. All applications are subject to acceptance or denial based on a review process that requires collecting information from references. Decisions on placing dogs into new homes are based solely on the judgment of April's Chihuahua's owners, and applications may be denied for various reasons. April's Chihuahuas reserves the right to refuse to sell to anyone without disclosing the reasons and to make all decisions regarding placement or final disposition of any/all dogs in their care.

 

Our Responsibility

We take our responsibility seriously when placing our puppies or adult Chihuahuas into their new forever home. We love our Chihuahuas so want the best for each of them. All puppies are sold with a spay/neuter agreement contract, health warranty and limited or no registration papers. We require references and we do NOT ship puppies or adult dogs. We want to meet their new family in person. We do NOT sell our puppies to pet brokers, pet stores or puppy mills. We remain committed to the puppies we bring into the world for their entire lives. They will always have a home with us if life-changes prevent them from remaining with their new families.
