A Gathering In Christ

Dear Bro Kevin,
I come from India, After experiencing the Lord's headship and latetly, God giving me the understanding of His Kingdom - Submitting in the spirit to the aurthority of Christ as the King in the church. I long to excercise and walk in the Lord under his authority.After listining to some of the audios of Bro Richard Akeroyd's (Son In Law of Austin Sparks)Messages God has really helped me to understand very much.

I have seen the God's authority among the group of people in India (Bro Victor Ispahani) gathering under the headship of Christ.
I have moved to Melbourne 5 Years ago i am attending a bretheren group at the moment.After tasting the God's authority in the church in India i am longing for the same and was praying so that Lord would take me to His people to grow more in Him then i found this website.
Please let me know if you know anyone in Melbourne(Australia) who gather under the headship of Christ.

At present my wife and I are visiting her sister in the Seattle area. I am sending this from her sister's computer. I discovered your website while searching for an assembly of Christ-minded disciples in the area. My wife, Loretta and I host an assembly at our house that agrees in spirit with much of your teaching. And in matters in which we have differed you have added some excellent things to ponder. I am thrilled to find a brother who seeks to honor the Lord by taking serious all matters that affect our worship of Him. I assume also that you don't take yourself as seriously as you do these precious truths. We leave to return to our home on Maui this Wednesday and have made arrangements to stay in Port Townsend the next two evenings. David you are the first to sign our guest book. Over the years we have done different things with our children but generally they join us in the meeting. The young ones which find it difficult to sit for a long spell often will leave after the first half of the meeting and either play or watch videos. Sometimes some one would lead them in song or in coloring etc. We for a good while have had the meeting structured so that open sharing, praise and thanksgiving (in the form of personal testimony, exhortation, words of encouragement,prayer, song etc.) takes place first so as to prepare our hearts for the Lord's Table. Then after we share the loaf and the cup we will break for a time of fellowship usually over a meal and then resume for teaching from the Word. It is at this time the young kids will be excused. The older one will be expected to remain for the teaching.

This sounds like a great experience. My family is in process of realizing the power and closeness that can be experienced in a setting like this. By the way what do you guys do with your children
