Marlow's Traveling Salvation Show

Wecome to the Marlow's Traveling Salvation Show!! We Present This Site for the Sake of, and in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord! All are Welcome Here.

The Marlow's Traveling Salvation Show Goes Online!

Anthony & Olivia Marlow are traveling evangelists. We preach the Word of God, a basic salvation message, and we provide Christian comedy and entertainment.

We have dedicated our lives to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as in the Great Commission: Mark 16:15 "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."

Preaching His Word is what our traveling salvation show is all about.

Back Home From A Long Holiday Tour! Here's the latest Update on The Show:

We are headed back home now, after a very long holiday tour, which lasted longer than we expected.  I’ve had a lot of time to think about The Show, since we started for home, and I’ve been thinking about how The Show has been forced to change, because we are not living and working out of a motor home now.  We used to literally live on the road.  Now we have a home-base.    Overhead.  A place without wheels that you can’t take with you on tour.  A place to leave from and a place to go back to after the tour is over.  We used to be on tour 365 days a year, and now our time has been cut back dramatically.  We have also been forced to re-focus our whole effort and re-think the way we do things.  This has brought up a bunch of new issues, some welcome and some that we are still praying about.  As strange as it might seem, living in one place is a new experience for us.  After all, we’ve been on the road for a little more than 15 years now.

The extra expense of travel, including hotels and eating out, is not too welcome.  But we’re trusting in the Lord Jesus to take care of those needs.  He has never let us starve before, and I can only think of one night that we had no place to stay.  And that was really just a matter of bad timing.  One night, some years ago, during a time before motor-home travel, The Marlow’s Traveling Salvation Show pulled into the City of Los Angles.  And, believe it or not, there was no room at the Inn.  You see, we arrived on the eve of the Democratic National Convention . . . quite by accident.  But, sure enough, we drove all over the city and we could not find a room anywhere in L.A.  We should have simply considered ourselves to be in the best of company, but at the time it really didn’t seem very funny.  I had never visited that huge city before, and was navigating through the city streets by a map and a prayer.  While driving across the desert earlier that day, after starting off from Needles, CA, that morning, our vehicle lost air-conditioning, reverse gear, and burned out the alternator.  It was already night by the time we reached Sunset Boulevard, and we were exhausted after unsuccessfully searching for a room.  We ended up sleeping in our car that night.  My wife, our dog Jessica, the cat, General Lee, and myself, were all squeezed into the front seats of a big Dodge Ram Charger—which was packed to the inch with everything that we were traveling with on a tour that ended up lasting just over four years.  That night we spent the night, not in a stable, but in a Church parking lot in Burbank.  When you are in a huge, strange city, with no place to go, where else would a Christian spend the night?  Where else would we be safe?  Where else would the Holy Spirit lead us?  Of course, to a Church.  But I miss the days when Church doors used to be left open at night!  In the end, it didn't really matter that we spent the night sleeping in the car in a church parking lot, in a strange city where we did not know even one soul.  It was not comfortable, but . . . so what!  Our comfort is not the main issue here.  We were there to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ!  And I'll say that the front seat of that old car was much more comfortable than the prison cell where Paul was a guest.  God gives us what we need.  It's that simple.  God gives us what we need.  And that night, in Los Angles, long ago . . . we just didn't need a hotel room.  Period.  And it didn't stop us from preaching the Gospel!

We do welcome the changes that have led us in the direction of establishing Beaglepack Game Productions.  That new effort is still growing and striving to take root.  It is taking longer to create the products that we are working on, but to give you a quick update, here are a couple of the items that are currently on the table:

A Christian Computer game named, “For God, Gold and Glory.”  This game is developing into a real-time strategy game in which players will send missionaries out into the unknown wilderness to set up new churches and convert new Christians.

We are also working on two other titles, “The Ten Commandments,” and “Roman’s Road.”  Learning and teaching and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the basic foundation for all of these games.  But, unfortunately, we are not even close to making our original beta release date for “The Ten Commandments,” which was set for March of this year.  As part of the game creation process, we’ve been learning three programming languages that are new to us:  Microsoft Visual Basic.NET, Microsoft Visual C++.NET and Microsoft ASP.NET.  The last of these is intended for use in creating a new website for The Show and a separate website for Beaglepack Game Productions.

ONE FINAL NOTE:  THIS JUST IN:  we have just received news of the very best and most exciting kind!  We are so excited about this that we can hardly keep from shouting out loud . . . well, why not?  Praise God!  We’ll go right ahead and shout out loud!  We have just received tremendously good news.  Oh . . . I’m sorry . . . but I can’t tell you just yet!  This promises to be so BIG that the announcement will have to wait just a bit, until the plans for our next tour are re-scheduled.  We are dropping all travel plans in their tracks, to make room for this HUGE and exciting NEWS that has just come to our attention.  I guess you’ll have to check back with us later to find out just what the BIG news is!

Future Spot For 'Anthony's Weekly Talks'

A weekly mini-sermon.  We'll also be working on a message board so everyone can make comments about the weekly message, or any other topic related to the Christian Walk.

Go out and tell someone--anyone--about Jesus.  Do it Now!  Just walk up to someone and spread the Gospel!  The sooner we get all the lost souls saved, the sooner we can all go home to Heaven, and be with our Lord, Jesus Christ!  Don't wait one more day.  Don't let anything stop you.  Just go DO it!

Books, Tapes and Computer Games for Christians:

We are working on several exciting projects that are currently available for you.  And our new merge with Beaglepack Game Productions ("Just One Guy and His Dog!") will be bringing you Chistian Computer games Soon.

Olivia Marlow has written a Christian novel that is hand-bound by the author. Her personal greeting and signature will be written in each copy that you order. The book is titled, "Wage Against Wage." The book is for sale now, for just $19.57. If you wish to purchase the book as a gift for someone, please include their name with your order, so the author can personalize for them.

Anthony Marlow has written a novel, two Christian screenplays, four Christian Stage Plays, and he has also created a half-hour Christian action/adventure series intended for television. He has also written many short Christian plays that are specifically meant to be performed live in your Church, or at any Christian convention.  And . . . shh . . . keep this quiet:  Anthony is going to be the guy who will be designing the Christian computer games for Beaglepack Game Productions.  Our faithful and talented Beagle Jessica will be sitting at his feet while he learns and writes the computer code.

If you would like to see the plays performed, please contact us. We travel all over the country, just to bring these special plays to you. The shorter plays are meant to fit into a Church service, extending a typical service for no more than half an hour. Generally, we accept a good-will donation from the congregation. For larger events, such as Christian seminars, conventions and retreats, a reasonable flat fee can be arranged. We will work with your budget.

Introducing Beaglepack Game Productions, a subsidiary company of The Show:

The Show will be slowing down our road-travel for a while. The reason? Because we are merging with a new company that will make Christian Games and other Christian Programs to be used by Sunday School teachers, Christian Schools, and Christian Families all over the world. Beaglepack Game Productions will be a subsidiary company of The Marlow’s Traveling Salvation Show.

The merging operation with Beaglepack Game Productions will take an unknown amount of time, because it includes not only the design and creation of the games that are currently planned, but also the creation of new websites.

The big software companies, using anywhere between 50 and 100 programmers often spend an average of two to three years going from the first acts of game development to the final release of the game. And in the process, they are spending well over $50 Million dollars on the new shoot-em Up’s.

The motto for Beaglepack Game Productions will be, "Just One Man and His Dog!" We will be doing things a little different than the big game companies do it, and we’ll be doing things God’s way! First of all, our games and other programs will be designed according to what we believe Jesus wants us to make. Beaglepack Game Productions will also be developing games that are heavily based on the real history of creation: The World of God!

So keep checking back for signs of Beaglepack Game Productions here at this website. We’ll let you know just as soon as the first game hits the web.

That takes care of all the new business. That also takes care of the moving and the merging. Please pray for our efforts to make The Marlow’s Traveling Salvation Show conform to God’s will, and not our own, and to help us use The Show to provide you with better services as we spruce up and change this website for The Show, as well as for Beaglepack Game Productions. Also, please pray for our efforts to build up Beaglepack Game Productions, so that we can use computers and the internet for God’s will, and that we’ll be able to bring you fun and exciting computer games that will help teach kids the Bible, as well as Christian action/adventure games . . . also designed to help teach the Bible. Some games will also be geared at an older audience, because it’s not just kids that like to play games, and it’s not just kids that need to learn the Bible.

We want to use every gift that God gave us in order to preach the Gospel to the whole creation! And we believe that these changes are God’s will. Otherwise we wouldn’t be doing it. Our walk with God, here at The Marlow’s Traveling Salvation Show, has always included our God-given determination to leave our home behind, and to simply pack the vehicle (and trailer), and GO! The two of us–Olivia and Anthony Marlow--made a covenant with God long ago, that we would simply go wherever we believe He wants us to go, and do whatever we believe He wants us to do, in order to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ! The long road that we have traveled–literally traveled: two people with a dog and a cat, driving many times back and forth across this country, reaching from Boston to Los Angeles–has brought us to where we are now, and has resulted in these new changes that we’re telling you about. For us it’s just another adventure that God is leading us on. And wherever He leads, we here at The Marlow’s Traveling Salvation Show and Beaglepack Game Productions will go. And we’ll preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to ever person that God puts in front of us to speak to.

We encourage you to do the same. Not to leave your homes and go forth . . . you have your own walk with God. I mean one simple kind of walk that you can do the next time your at the gas station, standing on a street corner, or in a grocery store. Just walk up to someone you don’t know and simply ask them if they know Jesus. Getting the conversation started is just that simple. Don’t worry about what you should say, or what they might do. Just do your part, the rest is up to God. In our own personal experiences, doing this simple kind of walk all over the country, we’ve found some very interesting answers to the question, "Excuse me. Do you know Jesus?" Some people just say no and walk away. Don’t worry about them–they are God’s problem, not yours. Other people might say no, they don’t know Jesus, but stay to let you introduce Him to them. If they do this, then don’t worry about what you are going to say. Just let the Holly Spirit do the talking. This is also God’s job. Our job is just to GO. God’s job is to get the people saved. You might get some dirty looks. Don’t be afraid, because if you’re saved, then Jesus is right there with you. You might get laughed at. You might be scorned and criticized. Don’t worry about any of that. Just GO, and ask someone the question, "Do you know Jesus?" And then let God do His part. You all have your own walk with God. But preaching the Gospel is part of the walk that every Christian must face. It’s not hard asking people if they know Jesus. Just don’t let the fear keep you from doing it. Because I can tell you from personal experience that there is no feeling on earth better than the feeling that you will get after leading someone to the Lord Jesus. Preach the Gospel! That’s our job. Collecting the souls is God’s job.

And here at The Marlow’s Traveling Salvation Show, we believe that the changes that we’re making here are what God wants us to do. I won’t try to second-guess God, or ask Him how long we’ll be traveling down this new road. Because that’s God’s job, so we don’t have to worry about it. We told God that we would GO, and so, once again, we’re going. The road ahead of us is just a little different than it was in the past.

We also want to thank you all for your continued support! As well as thanking every person or family who has donated so generously, and who have helped keep The Show going. Even though we’ll be on the road less often than we used to be, we’ll still be taking The Show where-ever we believe the Lord Jesus is telling us to go. And we’ll just go down this new road until we believe He tells us what to do and where to go next! We know that Jesus will be with us, and we hope that you will be too.

Please Note: Freewebs.com, the host of this website has changed it's policy, and they are now putting advertising on this website.

We complained that they were using sex-related advertisements on a Christian website, and they responded in a most professional and gracious manner, by promptly removing those distasteful adds. Once again we owe our host a truly heart-felt THANK YOU!  They provide this site to us free of charge, and we would encourage you to click on the link below, send them a note and thank them for responding to the needs of a Christian website in such a fine and decent manner!  This company has shown it's true color, and in light of those events, I now personally recommend this web-hosting service to everyone viewing this page.
