The latest expansion contains a new model for technological ages. Rather than restricting to the Old World concept of Stone, Bronze and Iron age, new terms have been coined to cater for Asian, Pacific and the New World civilisations. Four ages are again used which allows for easy integration into the new model, as well as remaining historically accurate. The new ages are as follows, together with their old and new world equivalent:
Nomadic Age
Old World
Early Stone Age
Middle Stone Age

Lithic Stage
Archaic Stage
