I aquirred this colony on the 20th Feb when I went walking at Arnside Knott there are lots of nests up there I didnt expect to come home with a small colony. After looking at a few colony's a saw a nest with a stone in the middle so I pulled up the stone and saw a mass of angry workers then suddenly I saw a queen run past I quickly gentle picked her up and got about 15 workers. I keep them in a small fish tank with peat soil and alot of debris on the surface they are currently living under a small piece of wood and they have been digging alot all week.
