Welcome to the world of Antoyneo D.

I'm hoping by sharing my journey it will not only promote awareness but also help the men of trans-experience, especially the POC and younger generation that are in the same boat as I.

So your at your first realization/awareness of being or knowing transgendered. You have no clue on what steps to take next. So eager to start the change to be the true you or know more on the person your dealing with in which ever way(relationship, friend, co-worker, etc). This is all new to a lot of the world so there's many doubts.

YOU WILL BE:
Scared of what the world will think. Scared not knowning will your family leave or stay. Scared will your friends no longer be that "ROCK" in your life. Scared not knowing will I be all alone. Scared of never finding love. Scared of going to "Hell". And the worst SCARED THAT YOU ARE WRONG FOR FEELING THE WAY YOU DO ABOUT YOUR PERSON.

These are all things I have felt, struggled, cried, lashed out, and hurt for many years over. I didn't know what was wrong but I was realizing that at the end of the day when i was all alone in the mirror the person that was in staring back didn't make sense. This was not me, this was not who I felt like within, I can't live like this. But this is who the world wants?...BLASPHEMY!

What about whats HEALTHY for you? Depression, anger, anxiety, hatred, self mutilation, or anything along those lines to conceal the distress IS NOT HEALTHY. Did this just touch a place of common understanding within you? Then you need to take a look in the mirror and think really hard on this question...

"You were born to die ultimatly, but in the life between birth and death do you live for you or someone else?"

This question is for anyone not just  for Transgendered or LGB people but the human race itself. You have to be happy within, you have to first love yourself. DO NOT be happy for what or who someone else wants you to be.
