Marshalls Myrmica Rubra Colony

Marshall collected his colony about 2 years ago when the colony lived inside a piece of rotting wood. It was a large colony then and he now believes it is bigger than when he collected it. The size is approximately 150 workers, about 100 brood and 8 queens. Now they live in sand because they soon moved out of their home once he offered them the option of the sand now they live in a large aquarium tank with a built in light just for a gently source of heat. (I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND COLLECTING YOUR OWN COLONY UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING.)

Josh's Lasius Niger Colony

This is Josh's Lasius Niger Ant colony, he ordered them from antstore and they arrived from Germany with about 13 workers and obviously a queen. Here are some pictures of his Ant Farm.
