What Is ANTi-TRUsT?
Simply put, we are bmx riders tired of seeing major companies making money off us. You can't trust someone, who doesn't know the bmx feeling. We make t-shirts and in the future we will be making hoodies. Not just for money, but to spread the word. BMX is about fun. I might not make the highest quality stuff, but I'm trying. We are also working on a video. I'm not looking to make the best video out there, but only to pay tribute to those before our time, who kept this sport alive for us to enjoy it. Anti-Trust is for everyone, who got on a bike and just did it for fun. Sponsorship is all well and good, but riding is not about sponsors. It's about riding and having fun. Anti-Trust is about loyalty to what you believe in and never sacrificing your love for what you have fun doing. We are about trusting your friends and family to understand that you want to ride a kid's bike for as long as you can.

I tried out a blog thing for the news and it didn't work, so here goes.

Forrest went to the doctor's today and received very good news. The halo on his leg that you can see in a previous news update, will be coming off on March 14. He should be able to pedal around on his bike in mid April, but has to take it easy until the bone fully heals by June. So no fastplants for him. Also, did you know that if you break your fibula, doctors don't even put it back in place. Forrest will have a broken fibula for the rest of his life.

Here's a picture of Johnny that was taken last year.

I can't believe it's 2006. Well we haven't been busy over here at AntiTrust, but there are new t-shirt designs in the work and a little edited together video clip that should be up on my next update.

Scott has gotten into the 21 century by getting a 30gb video iPod. He hasn't figured it out yet, but constantly calls Forrest for any technical questions. Sometime soon Scott should be down in the Bahama's while we freeze our asses off.

On November 14, Forrest was riding to the Imperial skatepark and was struck by a car. He did a frontflip, landing on the other side of the road. His leg was broken in 3 places, only 3 spokes broke in his front rim, and he's out for 3 months. Is there a pattern there? He should be out until the middle of February at the very least. Here's a picture of the contraption on his leg. A wire goes all the way through his ankle and 5 screws in the bone.

James is getting really good at park now. Here's a sequence of him doing a one handed transfer.

B-Cubed skatepark is planning to ban bikes from the park, because bikes don't go there between the months of April and October. The owner, Jim, is basically only in the business to make money and sees skateboarding as a means to it. To him, bikes are not. I hope someday skate magazine will quit telling skaters to hate us. As hope, here is a picture from the newest Ride BMX. Let's see a skatemag with this in it.

Rooftop and Tony Hawk

Johnny Zirckel got a new Eastern frame. Mike Colvin sold his bike for $75 after quitting, because "there is nowhere to ride". Which shortly after he quit, the Imperial Park opened. The cement at the Imperial Park is going nicely. It is halfway done and should hopefully be done by spring.

Nothing new from Sam Smith or Pat O'Leary.

It's winter, so I'll either get bored and update the news or have no news to update, so hang in there, Spring is coming.

Happy Halloween.

Forrest is still unemployed, but making $20 a week.

Scott moved to Virginia with his girlfriend at the end of September. The day he left, the Leopald Lake Skate Park opened up. The park is all metal ramps, but they are building a cement addition at the moment.

I got photoshop and have been playing around with fake double exposure pictures. Below is a really funny one of Johnny riding someone elses bike.

Sam paid $50 for a Robin costume that may have been a size to small. You be the judge.

Brad Preston bit the bullet and got married on October 22 to his long time girlfriend. Brauc was the best man and as of the morning of the wedding, did not have a speech. Forrest typed him up a really funny, long speech, that Brauc eventually didn't use.

Pat's band did a few shows over the summer and tore it up. Check them out on Myspace

Well that's some news, not that it could suffice for not updating since June, but we were busy.

Trail season is in and to kick it off we have been spending our days building at the trails. They are close to completion and we don't plan on riding untill they are done. There was a small cookout at the trails on Memorial Day, which included someone shooting a bottle rocket from his crouch and Phil Langford dancing with a wheel barrow.

Summer vacation is upon is for those on the team still in school. Forrest still has to attend school during the summer. He currently is looking for employement after leaving McDonald's.

In April, Forrest donated one of his kindeys to his mother. He was off his bike for a month and a half. He and his mother are doing great now.

Near the end of summer, the public park in Findlay Township should opening. They plan on having a grand opening in August, but who knows.

After a Sunstorm Downfall show at Mr. Smalls, someone came into Pat's house and stole his guitar and 25 DVD's.

Scott now has the Froto Baggins haircut. He and Sam are now going to take the ring to Mordor. Scott has left his employ at Toys 'R Us to work at a machine shop. I don't know what he does, but it makes him dirty. He put a new motor in his broke down Nissan and hopes to have it running in the next few weeks. He is also going to purchase some new lighter parts for his bike, like a new cassette rim, sprocket, and lighter chain.

James Goodlin's hair is awesomely long as shit and he just got a good frame for once. He bought an S&M Next Generation Dirtbike for $50.

Johnny is getting a new bike soon. Finally he can put the green machine out of it's misery.

Forrest purchased a new custom rim from Empire bmx. I've never seen anyone with this combo before.

Patrick has recently started attending CCAC at the North Side campus. He is studying business.

Well it's a new year as you have probably realized and here is the news.

The Anti-Trust video is finally done. It took Forrest 3 weeks to edit it at school. There was a small premiere in Langeloth on December 18th and we got a good response from the viewers. Forrest still has to create DVD menus and edit the bonus features before we start to distribute the final video. To celebrate, Forrest learned how to sprocket to fakie for the next video.

The Untrustworthy Mike Colvin seems to always quit riding in the winter, so he can play X-box. Whatever

James with an icepick, don't whine if it's a low ledge. It's still a damn icepick and he's not Cory Martinez.

Brauc now works at a tattoo parlor in Mcdonald and they are thinking of selling bike parts in the near future.

Pat's band did a show in Philadelphia one weekend then played Langeloth the next. They kicked ass at both shows. Zuke 2k also played the Langeloth show and tore it up.

Scotty now runs dual cables on his gyro, which means his brakes actually work, while his bike is still a piece.

Forrest has been learning how to play guitar, during the cold days, but still sucks.

James Goodlin got a sweet digital camera for christmas, so we hope to have new pictures for the site soon. If I new anything about html, I'd redo the site.

It has been quite awhile since an update. I've been busy with school and work, plus alot of other things have been on my mind. Not to mention my addiction to My Space. Things have still been going on over here. The team has been reduced. The team now is as follows;

A-Team - Scott Goodlin, Pat O'Leary, Sam Smith, and Forrest Cook.

B-team or flow guys - Jordan Kaymark, Johnny Zurkel, James Goodlin, Brauc Archie.

Johnny built a ghetto quarter pipe in his yard that got some good sessions before he had to tear it down. We have plans on building a new one next spring. I cleaned up my computer and accidentily erased all the new shirt designs, but I recently came up with this one to go along with Forrest's obsession with Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon.

Scott's newest car blew up, so he has to save up his money to buy a new motor along with his plans of buying some lighter parts for his bike. I think he finally got tired of lugging around his tank. Pat has had some bad luck recently with wrecking his bike and his car.

After 2 long years of production, the final editing of the Anti-Trust video will start next week, with a possible finishing date of December 18 for a premiere at the Nightmare Before Christmas show in Langeloth, featuring Zuke 2K, Sunstorm Downfall, and 427. The finished video will be on DVD and Vhs, with VHS being $8 and the DVD being $10.

In recent weeks, Forrest sprained his ankle jumping down a set of stairs playing hide and seek, Scott hurt his knee bailing off a sub-box, and Sam may have re-hurt his knee while riding at the skatepark.

Scott and Pat lasted a little while in there house before moving back with thier parents. Pat now has to pay rent to stay in his old room. SCott has also bought a new car. I haven't seen it yet, so I don't know what it is.

It's pretty much official by now that Preston has quit bmx. He sold off his bike and cancelled out his debts to Forrest, because he is now into quad racing. So if you need some parts, go see Forrest and take some money with you.

Forrest entered a contest on August 21 and placed 8th out of 12 people. This was his first contest and he was the only rider to do a fastplant.

Brauc has moved out of his parents house. Time will tell if he will return. Also he has a job with a roofing company and now has 7 tattoos.

Sammy has finally healed up from his knee injury. After nearly a year, he is back on his bike, which is awesome, because Sam is on of the most fun people to ride with.

Graham started school at the University of Pitt Johnstown. I haven't heard much about how that's going for him, but I wish him goodluck and I hope he continues riding.

I have new t-shirt designs that noone will buy. I have stickers now too, which noone will want.

Scott moved out of his parents house in Imperial and Pat moved out of his mom's house in Crafton, so they could rent a house on Mt. Washington. They are living right by McKinley, so I assume they are riding quite often.

Forrest entered a bmx best trick and high bunnyhop contest at Warped Tour. Some say he was jipped, others that he lost. He just bought a guitar that he doesn't know how to play yet.

Brad Preston is currently holding a job at a store in Robinson. How long will that last? He still owes Forrest $26.

The last news I heard from Brauc, he was jumping over drive ways to a distance of 23 feet.

Sam has started school at AIP and is attending with the likes of Forrest. Good luck Sammy.

Scott, Graham, Sam, Pat, and a few others decided to stay in Ocean City for a few weeks to enjoy the summer and their independence from school.

Brauc has graduated from Burgettstown High School, while Preston has to spend yet another year there. Go to school Brad and you won't have this problem.

The damage that Preston did to Forrest's digital camera is not covered under Sony's warrantee, so it looks like he might owe Forrest a lot more money. $200 more to be exact.

Tramp biking has paid off twice for Forrest. He made a How To video about it for a class project and got an A-. He has also just landed footplant tailwhips on flat ground. Now he will take it to the ramps. Forrest has started playing X-Box live and enjoys killing people with machine guns, but won't talk to the other players.
