Anti-Westboro

My name is Melissa, and I'm 28 years old. I'm a patriotic Christian and a member of a family with a military heritage going all the way back to the Civil War.  

So Why Do You Care? 

I've always gone by the motto that "All that is required for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing." (Edmund Burke) So while some people may just say "If we turn our backs on people like those in the Westboro group, they'll just go away." That's not necessarily true. I believe the only way to get things done is for people to take action, and it's up to us to educate each other. Ignoring a problem doesn't make it go away.
