Born in Prague, the cultural heart of Europe, where arts flourish and artistic talents are nourished, Tessa Valo became devoted to fine arts at an early age. On her way towards artistic enlightenment she met Russian artists who taught her and made a lasting impression on her art. She is living, working, creating, studying in and enjoying the nice lifestyle of Norway. Her social anthropological research on Indian culture brought her to Lucknow for several months. This exhibition covers the period she spent in this amazing city and reflects the intersection of Indian and European cultures as experienced both on the emotional and intellectual levels.
