So you want to make your text outlined like on a nametag or just for a cool effect? I'll show you how. Open up your version of Photoshop. I have Photoshop CS2. Yours version might be a little different. In my example, I'll be doing a nametag.

Click File>>> New. A little window comes up. Make sure you have your settings the same as mine.

Okay, now we're ready to begin. Click on the text tool.

Select your font and color and size in the tools above your image. So now, mine looks like this:

Yours should look similar. Now click on the little "f" symbol. Click preview to see bigger.

Pick the option "Stroke." Then you can mess with the settings to make it how you want.
