Photo Album and Free Image Hosting- From the people who did Trigun. I haven't seen this one yet, but from what I understand, Gungrave is about a guy named Brandon Heat, who works for the Millenion Group crime syndicate. He gets double crossed and killed by his friend Harry, but he really doesn't die. Brandon gets brought back to life by Dr. T, a mad scientist, and is renamed Beyond The Grave. Immediately, Beyond the Grave goes for revenge by going after the people who killed him. Adding to this is that he also has to protect Miki Asagi, the daughter of his slained lover, Maria Asagi...

Photo Album and Free Image Hosting- InuYasha the Movie: Affections Touching Across Time.

About 200 years ago, InuYasha's father sealed away a very powerful demon named Hyoga. 200 years later a Shikon Jewel shard awakens Hyoga's son, Menomaru. Menomaru then absorbs his father's powers into his body, and goes for vengeance by going after InuYasha. Before the battle begins, 2 of Menomaru's Henchwomen steal Miroku's "Windtunnel" and Sango's 2 tailed Cat Demon Kilala. Menomaru also takes possession of Kagome's body and makes her do a grievious act of violence against InuYasha. After she breaks free from Menomaru, she goes back home to her own time period and is convinced that she is not needed back in the feudal era. Kagome then communicates with InuYasha through the Tree of Ages, and she is convinced that she is needed in the Feudal Era. When she gets back to the feudal era, that's where the real battle begins...

All in all 10 out of 10.

10 -25- 04

Shido goes after his oldest foe, Cain, after Shido's ward is stripped of her soul and becomes Cain's pawn. Shido also has to confront himself about his feelings towards Riho. Also on this disk is an episode about a girl whose good luck charm necklace houses a nightbreed, and a few episodes that deal with Shido's past.

All in all Nightwalker as series comes to a bloody good conclusion.

Major Kusanagi and the crew from the first Ghost in the Shell movie are back in the form of an anime series.

First Disc:

First episode ("Section 9") is about a murder and a possible defection by a major political figure.

2nd Episode (Testation): A runaway military tank is on the loose, and it's up to Kusanagi, Batou, the Tachikomas, and the rest of the gang to capture it.

3rd Episode ("Android and I"):  Defective androids are committing mass suicide, and the section 9 team have to find out why.

4th Episode ("Interceptor"): The first of a two-part episode. A mysterious hacker named "The Laughing Man" and a huge conspiracy is the main plot of the story.

Disc 2:

Even though I have seen the episodes on the disc, I will quote what it says on the back of the cover.

"Section 9 has their hands full with the reappearance of the laughing man, a cyber-terrorist who hasn't been heard from in six years. Aramaki belies that the police's prime suspect is a decoy; he orders his team to look into it. Major Motoko Kusanagi, meanwhile, in response to the Laughing Man's latest threat, is guarding the Police Superintendent-General at a press conference. This will mark the beginning of Section 9's ongoing encounters with the laughing man.

In the meantime, they will also have to capture a foreign revolutionary and put a stop to what looks like an organ smuggling ring. The Majorand Section 9 are determined to bring these criminals to justice!"

Saiyuki Double Barrel Collection (double disc set) 1: The Jouney Begins + Old Friends, New Enemies

May 2nd ,2005- This Double Disc set is basically a re-release of the first 2 discs of the original Saiyuki series as part of ADV Film's 10th anniversary celebration. And this is quite a bargain too: 10 episodes (5 per disc) for only $29.99!

To describe this series, I will quote from the front and the back of the casing.

From the front of the casing:

"Shangri-La was a world where humans and demons lived togther in peace- until the demons suddenly went berserk and started attacking people. It was all part of an evil plan to revive Gyumaoh, a super demon who had been sealed in a tomb for 500 years. In order to prevent this forbidden synthesis of black magic and chemistry, The heavenly emissary Genjo Sanzo was sent to the far west with three companions: Son Goku, Sha Gojyo, and Cho Hakkai."

From the back of the casing:

"Once demonkind and man lived together in harmony. But when a band of rogue demonic forces seek to revive a diabolical monster, a dark spiritual energy begins to cover the land. Now it's up to a renegade priest, a monkey king, a lecherous water sprite, and a sympathetic demon to stop the resurrection and return harmony to a dangerous land."

"Enter the world of Saiyuki! A unique universe of beauty and betrayal. Where sacred scrool enchanted weaponry and where dragons can transform into jeeps. A land where four reluctant heroes are just as concerned about having a good time, a stiff drink, and a beautiful woman as they are about saving the world"

Note to the women surfing here: There are a lot of good looking guys here (especially Sanzo).
