First Question...not relating to FAQ!
WHY THE HECK RANMA??
Well, duh, he looks confused so I chose this layout. After all, it does answer frequently asked questions when you're confused, doesn't it? Thought so.

Questions(?)are in Underlined Bold; Answers are in plain text.

You've been WARNED--THIS PAGE IS PG-13; there is some suggestive jargon in this area for explaining the questions.

Do you make your own anime layouts and graphics?
Yes, I do now. I used to be so lazy, having an extreme lack of confidence. Now that I have Paint Shop Pro 7, I looove making my layouts. The reason why I have watermarks on my other layouts is because...like I said, I was lazy. I also make my own buttons and banners. If you want custom made buttons/banners, send your info; just e-mail me. I'll only make you a layout if I *REALLY* like you. ^_~

What's "Yaoi?"
Yaoi is a Japanese word used for male-male relationships; otherwise known as gay.

I know what Yaoi is, but what is "Yuri?"
Well, it's the same as Yaoi, but it's female-female relationships(also a Japanese word), and is known as lesbian relationships. "Yuri" can also mean Lily.

Can you tell me what "fanservice" is?
Whoa man. Didn't see this one comin'. ^^; Fanservice is poses that anime characters are in a certain way or position just for the fan. By poses I mean...obscene hentai poised. It's nudity, wet tee-shirts, it could be even more than just one person; malexmale(yaoi), femalexfemale(yuri), or straight--but in some cases it's very rare. The female fanservice is bluntly called "courtesy breasts."

You can tell if a type of cartoon or comic is anime/manga because of the eyes. Why do they have such big eyes?
Hmm. I heard this once before about how the eyes got started. Well, to my collected knowledge of it, I've seen in editorials that anime characters have such big eyes because it's based on Western people. People whom live out in the 'Wild, Wild West' have large eyes--but not to the extent of anime/manga individuals, of course.

Ok, now what's up with the big sweatdrops and the bloody noses?! These people are whacked.
NO they are not whacked; and that wasn't even a question. ^^; The sweatdrops falling slowly to the back of their head and sticking there indicate embarrassment or being timid. As for the bloody noses, well, heh. You know there's something perverted or relating to sex somehow in front of the character's eyes. It may be blocked out, or it may be pretty damn clear what's making them have a hemorrhage up their nose. Most of the time, it's been blocked out or edited for the content.

Funky hair?! ALL the colors under the sun to go with it?! What the blating hell?
No need to get frisky! The hair is just to get away from the normal blah cartoon; and so are the colors. We add some spice to it, flare it up and you get anime. This is mostly because the series plots are basically all "Alternate Universe" sort of stuff. I mean, have a stroll over to the Yu-Gi-Oh! section. Did you ever look at Yugi's hair?! You'd have to be frickin' coo-coo not to notice it. No wonder he has a hard time fitting in at school! Therefore you have it; that's the beauty of anime! ^_~

That just about hits the nail on the head. If you have any more questions you'd like to be answered; be my guest and e-mail me.

Do ya feel less confused now Ranma? ^^
