We try to keep every animal on Brantwood Lake (and everywhere else!) safe. We think that all animals deserve to be treated very nicely. Caring for all the animals at Brantwood Lake is a full-time job, but right when we get home from school we go straight outside, checking on our animals, exploring the woods for some critters, going around the lake, or sometimes even swimming with the fishies! When we find a hurt animal (like when we found a baby bird that couldn't fly) we go straight to caring for it, not something else such as "leaving it alone". Small greenfrog Brad's life was saved after being stuck in a bucket. Little bunnies Clover and Zoey's life was saved after being trapped in a windowsill with no food. Koogami could of died of starvation if we didn't feed him some fresh lettuce. JL Animal Rescue saved many animals' lives, from fish to frogs, from tadpoles to birds, bunnies to turtles, dogs to guinea pigs, cats to dragonflies. JL Animal Rescue is the best!
