Discussing politics is not something everyone likes or wants to do. Many prefer to keep their opinions to themselves. And there are those that feel the need to express their opinions to their friends or on their blogs. Then there are those that feel the need to express their opinions on forum boards, chatrooms, webspace groups, etc.
The Network54 Politics Debate Forum was created by Jim when the old Iwon forum boards were discontinued. Many of the members there followed him to the new board. I am unsure how many members there are total because many come and go. There are a vast majority of us that hang around, and like a good gladiator fight...we biff it out on a daily basis on this board.
Sparring with one another over every topic that anyone could ever have an opinion on. Parenting, abortion, religion, philosophy, politics, and of course, Election 2008.
Many of us are Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Libertarians, and Moderates. We fight, we laugh, we pray, we cry, and we get down to business.
If this sounds like an environment that you want to get involved in, I suggest you not be shy. Jump in, express your opinions, get to know the many members that frequent the board.
