About Animal Crossing Fangirl

There are already numerous websites dedicated to Animal Crossing games on the web, and I am a member of a few of them. This website is in no way ment to replace them, they contain a goldmine of information already, as well to access to a vase community of fans. This site was actually built to complement these websites, because no matter how hard you try, no fansite can ever contain everything. Since I was doing my own studies and research, noting them on digital files on my computer, I figured that others in the different Animal Crossing communities could benefit from my results. This website is ment as a way to let everyone access the result of my experiments.

For the time being, all information on this website is about Animal Crossing: Wild World for the Nintendo DS as it is currently the only Animal Crossing game that I own and play. I will never try to hide my personal interest for the upcoming Wii title, and so as more information becomes available for this title, this site will grow to contain more about the upcoming Animal Crossing for the Wii.

You are all welcome to post comments and suggestions in the guestbook, you can also send me a PT on AnimalCrossingCommunity.com (username: RainbowDS), I'll be happy to see if I can extend my site to accommodate you.

Your local fangirl: Rainbow

ACF News!

I just quickly pumped out a small new wifi guide, mostly so people know how to protect their town from wifi vandals. I will soon update the monthly guide with price and time corrections required after I found some inconsistencies, and I'll also add a notice about the European price differences found in the game for both the monthly and flea market guides.

I updated the turnip experiment page with the 2 latest weeks worth of data and comments (sorry to skip last week with the updates). I would also like to apologize for my lack of new entry in the Florias Diary, I've been too busy with the other site updates and other personnal stuff to post anything there for a while.

But on a more positive note, I would like to extend my thanks to everyone who has given me all the positive feedback, both here on the Guestbook and on Private Threads on the Animal Crossing Community, you all give me warm fuzzy feeling inside and I'm happy to know that my site is making a difference for so many people.

Today's update consisted of a big update of the Flea Market Guide current price lists, and the addition of a new section: the Wishing Well, which is basically a suggestion and survey section where you can make requests about what you would like to see included on this website.

ACF seem to be experiencing some problems with it's Guestbook. I'm looking into it and hopefully it will be back up soon. UPDATE: The Guestbook seems to be back in service!

New blog! I named it Florias Diary, and it's a place where I will talk about the daily life in Florias in a humorous fashion. Maybe you will recognise situations you have gone through yourself

The new and improved Monthly Guide is up and running! You can now easily find out what you can catch each month simply by looking in the right column. Enjoy!

Planned projects

There will soon be more to this website than a flea market guide. Here are the few things that I plan on integrating in the upcomming weeks:
  • Money making tips and tricks: after reading the same recurring questions on various websites, I'll try to work a guide on how to make good money in Animal Crossing: Wild World. Currently underway! Comming soon.
  • Roof color guide: you know, when Tom Nook asks you which color you would like to see your new roof to be and you wonder what color to choose? And when you wonder if you should spend that 900 bells for a roof paint job by Timmy and Tommy? Well I plan on spending a little money and try to test every single roof color possible and post pictures! If anyone is willing to help by taking clear pictures of their own house, send me a PT on ACC (my username is RainbowDS). Currently underway!
  • Turnip guide: to continue with the idea of the turnip price tracking experiment, and to go along with the money making guide, I will soon offer a turnip guide that will include the basics behind both types of turnips, and what you need to know to make the most money out of it.
  • Bee catching guide: bees can be tricky to catch, but once you get to know their behavior, you can almost manage to catch them all. I will try to make a comprehensible guide on how to catch bees, since it's one thing that many people are having trouble with.
  • FAQ and ressource guide: some questions seem to be asked over and over again. I'll try to compile a list of questions and give answers, either directly, or by linking to websites containing the answer.
