How it all began...

This website is owned by a ordinary teenage girl who loves anime and hates school work, exams, homework, projects and ALOT more. This site started out a year ago when Summer was bored to death and decided to do something fun. She wanted to do something fun on the internet. She then discovered html (HyperText Markup Language). So she started investigating it. She started on making a simple website, then she learned more and more about this html thing. Soon, all those html/graphics/anime websites inspired her to make her own. Summer IS an anime freak. So yep, she decided to make an anime-related site and naming it 'Anime Realm'. But the html she learned from Neopets and other html help websites wasn't enough. So she went through every anime and Neopets help website she can possibly find, learning html and examing their graphics and begging her mom (a.k.a. html expert) to help her on html. Then this site really got started. She tried her best to make this website's layout as nice as possible. But MS Paint just isn't good enough. But that's when her luck came. Her mom got her Adobe Photoshop 5.5 and now everything is great. Just one problem, her schoolwork is killing her. If only school didn't exist...

How it received it's name...

When I was trying to fall asleep the day after I thought of making this website, I started thinking of a name for this website that I was planning to make, 'Anime' popped into my head right away. Ofcourse 'anime' isn't a very appropriate name for a website, so I was thinking of adding something to the end. 'Reality' came to my mind, 'reality'... 'realm'? Anime Realm? There, I've got it! Anime Realm!

What's it's Purpose?
From the beginning of this humble website until today, it only has TWO purposes. 1) To keep me occupied in the weekends. 2) To let everyone enjoy my site and graphics. Hopefully, you are pleased with this website. With those two great reasons, webdesigning soon became a great hobbie of mine.
If you thought I made this website because of some other more complicated reason, then you are wrong. Webdesigning is about learning new things, making new friends and having fun. I personally don't really care if I get 100 hits per day or not, I don't care if more people visit your site than mine, I don't care if your graphic designing skills are higher than mine because those aren't important. But it's nice to always have a goal to achieve, to always have someone to compare yourself with. Otherwise, Anime Realm will always stay at the same level.

Conclusions

Anime Realm is a very important part of me. It will always be online as long as I live. It had many hosts, including Freewebs.com, Kylosa.com and Atspace.com. It may change hosts any day, but remember, Anime Realm will ALWAYS live!
