Is the Game Still On?
Please remember that it may be raining in your town and be SUNNY where the game is going to be played! The coaches will not cancel a game unless it is absolutely necessary... so do not presume that the game is cancelled until your coach calls you. If enough players FAIL to show up, you are at risk of forfeiting the game for your team.
It is the HOME TEAM COACH that decides if the field is playable and the UMPIRE'S decision if the field is playable and safe.
A little rain won't hurt anyone but the umpire may decide to call the
game if the field becomes too wet to play on. Absolutely no games are
played while there is visible lightning!
