Protecting Bulgaria's street dogs

ANGLO-BULGARIAN ASSOCIATION

FOR THE

PROTECTION OF DOGS

Registered Charity Number 148137127

We aim to speed up the neutering/spaying programme which is in force at present. This will mean less pups to add to the amount of strays on the streets. We promote neutering and spaying for all dogs other than pedigrees used for breeding.

Profile an adoption programme for the many lovely mongrels who just want a home and T.L.C.

Take information into schools and villages regarding the capabilities of dogs once they are released from a life on the end of a chain. Promote the general welfare and conditions the dogs require.

Spreading the word that all dogs (not just pedigree) deserve to be looked after properly. They should have food and water, somewhere safe and warm to sleep and veterinarian care when required.

All monies raised goes towards our spaying/neutering programme of which we have a register and can be requested at any time.

At this moment in time we do not have the facilities to take in any more stray dogs, but if you are looking for a dog please check our 'Give a dog a home' page where we have all shapes, ages, colours and sizes needing homes currently being fostered by ourselves and friends of the association.

In conjunction with the provardiya municipality Anglo-Bulgarian Association for Protection of Dogs are pleased to announce a property has been renovated and the kennels in provardiya opened offically on April 11th the kennels are for the recouperation of dogs from spaying/neuturing.
Preparation on this project will begin on the 20th october and will be completed and opened by spring 2009.
Please note A.B.A.P.D do not have a rehoming centre however photos of dogs with a little write up can be sent to our email
anglobulgariandogs@gmail.com and will be put on our homing page of our web site.
