Registration with Anglian Marine Services is very simple.
The ideal (and preferred) way is to email your cv and copies of all your certificates to us.
If you do not have access to email, but have a computer and scanner, the next best way is to scan everything onto a disc and send the disc to us.
If neither of the above is possible, as a last resort you can photocopy everything and either post or fax it.
As a rough guide, the following copies are required:
A cv/application form (you can ask for an application form)
Copies of all certificates of competency held, including, where applicable, the pages showing any limitations, expiry date and dangerous cargo endorsements (tanker permissions). Also GMDSS where held.
Certificates for all STCW 95 short courses, eg basic safety training, medical first aid, CPSC etc.
Your latest medical fitness certificate.
Your passport including any visas you hold. Non-EU seafarers please note that you may need a UK visa in order to join a ship here.
Your discharge/seamans book personal information pages and sea service records going back 5 years.
Any references you have.
Non-British seafarers must supply a copy of their most recent Marlins Test.
