Jason Rankin has been awarded the Bronze Star for his outstanding work in training and treating the Iraqi and Kurdish soldiers over the past year.

Master Sgt. Scott R. Ball, 38, of Carlisle, died Monday, Aug. 27, 2007, in Afghanistan.  Memorial fund established for his children as follows:

Sgt. 1st Class Justin S. Monschke, 28 was killed on October 14, 2007 in a south Baghdad region of Arab Jabour, Iraq.

Kenneth J. Iwasinski, 22, was killed on Sunday, October 14, 2007 in Baghdad.

Sgt Peter Burks, 25, was killed on November 13. 2007 in Iraq.

Sgt. Christopher Ryan Kruse,23 was killed November 13, 2007 in Iraq

Capt Adam Snyder-26-was killed on December 5, 2007 in Iraq

Cpl William O'Brien-19-was killed in Iraq on March 15, 2008
