Hey everyone, I am so excited. I took my daughter and some friends roller skating on Saturday night. I decided to try it. I used to love roller skating. Well, I had a blast. I could out skate some of the kids. It was GREAT!! I am a little sore from it but it is worth it. I think I may be one of the only ones out of our group that did not fall on my butt. The flashing lights and going in circles did bother me a little but not like it would have before treatment. I could not even do a U-Turn without getting dizzy before. My balance is much better now!! Well, just thought I would let you know about the fun I had. Ang
Well its been a while again but everything is still going good. I have been amazed at my energy level! I have much more energy than I did before I went to Costa Rica. I have just been feeling good the last few weeks. I have even had a few comments on how I look like I am feeling better. I don't think I have an energy level of a "normal" person yet but it is still WAY better than before. This week I saw a couple videos that I would like to share with everyone. It is of Preston and Richard. These two guys went to Costa Rica several months before me and have been doing great. They are the reason I heard about the clinic (ICM) and one of the reasons that I went. I saw how well they were doing and it really gave me hope and who have been passing on the word to everyone. So here are the links of the before and after interviews at the ICM clinic.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6mGMrjC1NIhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HF92WVRE2dM&feature=relatedAlso, I read about a young boy with autism who has had 3 stem cell treatments at ICM and has had wonderful results. Here is his website: http://www.recoveringmatthew.blogspot.com/I am so glad for him that this has been helping him. I am also excited that these stem cell treatments that they are performing at ICM (www.cellmedicine.com) are helping so many people! It still boggles my mind that we have to go out of the good ol' USA to get the treatment! Don't get me wrong I love my country but I wish they would at least start some trials or something. This has obviously helped many people and we need to get a move on this!! We don't need to be 10-20 years behind in this medical technology! I hope everyone is doing good and having a wonderful holiday season!!! Christmas is only 12 days away! Wow when I typed that I had to start singing the 12 days of Christmas song!! I am so excited!! Love you ALL!!!Ang
I wanted to give an update on how everything has been going. I have been feeling pretty good but I have noticed a few things. I am not sure if it is MS or if it is something else. Several years ago I woke up with a severe pain in my collar bone and it was swollen and I could not lift my arm. Well, it is back. My whole arm, neck and shoulder are hurting. So I saw my neurologist last week and he did a nerve test and he wants me to get on Rebif. I really hate to start any new drugs. But if I have to I will. I talked to another lady who is taking Estriol and having good results. So I will call my doctor tomorrow and ask if he can do a CT or MRI on my collar bone or shoulder or something and ask about the Estriol. I was reading that Estriol is a pill rather than an injection, which would be really great! Estriol is a hormone and has shown great promise to decrease MS lesions and progression in women. I just Googled Estriol for MS and found all sorts of information on it. I really think that the pain I am having is from something else but you never know, so I am going to look into it. I do still have more energy and have even worked up at the high school a couple of times this month. I do feel worn out afterwards but I would not have lasted the day a few months ago. I went out to eat with Dale lastnight and we hung out with my sister, Jeremy, and another couple. I had a good time. I haven't been out in a long time and it felt good to just get away from it all and hang out with my husband. It is that time of the year again. I always seem to get a little stressed out running around to everyone's house for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Well, NOT this year! I am not going to rush. I want to enjoy it and have a good time. Also, I am trying to avoid too much stress. I want to be more relaxed and enjoy myself. I love the holidays and can't wait to eat all the delicious food!! My Mom is making one of my favorites...Peach Cobbler! I could eat the entire pie! ( I am such a pig!!) I am so thankful for all the family and friends that I have and I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving and Christmas! Try to enjoy yourselves and your family! Love ya!!Angie
