I create what are called 'reborn babies'.
You take a blank doll kit which you paint and apply hair to (called rooting)
*This is a very simplified description as many hours/days are devoted to the creation*
and when you are done, you have a beautiful 'reborn'. These babies are extremely life-like and fool many people who think they ARE real.
Credit needs to go to the wonderful artists who originally sculpted the baby in clay (which is then cast into vinyl)
and further credit to the artist who then takes a blank canvas and turns it into an 'almost real' baby!
