We have spend the last two months in Rusko, where I have worked first 5 weeks in piggery house and then 3 weeks in a cow shed. I still have 3 weeks left in the piggery house, and then 1 holiday week and then we are once again off to Estonia. Unfortunately I couldn't take Edi with me to see the pigs and cows, I figured he would just bark at them, and make the cows too nervous. But he has been few times with me, when I have gone to stables. Near the place where we live is also a forest, and Edi gets to be free there almost daily, there he just loves to run!I took Edi to see the vet yesterday, he examined Edi's eyes and both were healthy:) Now we just have to wait the results from the DNA test, so I'll know whether he has the cataract gene or not. Edi behaved extremely well at the veterinary clinic, I was really proud of him!
Latest news is that I purchased a clicker yesterday. Now I have started to teach Edi to get him to associate clicker sound to a reward. I still need to read a bit more about how clicker training can be used in training, but so far it seems to be quite interesting:)Hopefully this way I can get him to concentrate more and teach him some new tricks. I borrowed my friend's book "Doog tricks" (by Mary Ray and Justine Harding). There is few tricks which I'm planning to teach Edi.
Added some new photos of Edi to the photogallery.
Also updated the pages after such a long time. Now there's a new introduction of Edi, and some other changes and in addition some new photos on the pages as well.
In other news: My parents visited us this weekend, so Edi has had a very exciting weekend. Apparently it was also a very tiring one, since after they left he has been sleeping most of the time:D Here in Estonia we have had few very nice, warm and sunny days, so we have done a lot of long walks. Unfortunately we haven't been to agility for three weeks now because of all my exams, but hopefully next time we'll have a chance to go.
Also I'm happy that Edi has finally stopped shedding his fur. Now he looks bit stupid since there's almost none hair on his hind legs, but hopefully he will start growing them back soon. Though it doesn't matter, since we aren't going to any dog shows.
