As some of you may now, Im also working on the indie game 0A.D.. On july 10 2009, 0A.D. has go open source, what means that now you can download the game engine source code, and if you know how to do it, create a EXE to play with two of the civs that will be available: the greeks and the celts.

There has been a while since the last update; I take a programing course, Im learning a third language, and I recently learn that Im going to have a new baby :D... as you may imagine, Im really happy.

But I want everyone to now that Im still working on this, and altough the mods seem to be still, they are slowy getting closer to completition. The Insectors! Modpack, is almost ready, i just need to make some technologies to work properly; the Improved Norse are finish, with the exception of a few shields; also once that I finish that, Im going to work on the egyptian units.

For those that have ask about the units on the previous post, the hoplites are part of my Ancient Warriors Project, and unfortunatly are not read to be released; Im waiting for EmjeR to release his BBC Tool, because it may help me alot to advance faster; if that doesnt work, then I will release the units that I have so far. Thanks to the visitors, and keep pending :)

Trojan War Mod and Improved Norse

Im so happy about the Ancient Warriors Project advance, that Im taking a small recess to make to small Projects. The Trojan War Mod, will recreate Micenic and Anatolian type warriors from the early bronze age. Im trying to base the mod as much as posible in archeological evidence, to portrait some soldiers as they may look in the Troy War, on this pic you can see the Trojan Archers:

The other project that Im working at, is a extension of Tarion_31 improved greeks, in colaborations with members of Epic Studios, Im working on a Improved Norse Mod, this will include better textures and some light gameplay changes to the norse. On the pic you can see a preview of the new Huskarl:

More Hoplites

This is just another ingame pic of the greek hoplites, this time with using their shields and figthing a few romans. Visits to the site seem to have increased on this week but there are no signs on the guest book :/, common guys, I need your support!

Greek Infantry Hoplitai

Todays screen is a showcase of the new base model, along with one of the most important units, the greek hoplites. Ligther than the Spartiates, this men are citizens of the poleis that could aford the equipment. The base of every greek army, this men are powerfull enough to counter some of the special units of other factions. The shield texture will be soon replaced by acurated hoplite designs. REMEMBER TO SIGN THE GUEST BOOK :)

Trafic seems to be coming to the site, but I really dont know if people is really interested, or just get here by error :P

Due to recent problems with the previous base model, I have decided to go back to the table and start over. In the pic youcan see the new base model that will be used for the new units, is going pretty good, and perhaps I even replace the villagers with this new model. The reference images are from 0 A.D. :)

Finally the Ancient Warriors Project is being worked. Currently the three factions of the Europa Mediterranea Group are being developed, and getting ready for the demo in march!
