Who visited

Welcome!  My name is Myrna Richardson, director of A.C.T.S. (Anchored in Christ through Theatrical Services).  We at A.C.T.S. have an awesome task before us.  Let me use one of the Savior's parables to illustrate our belief.

Jesus tells the story of a man who gave his servants some talents to take care of while he was gone away on a trip.  To one servant he gave five thousand talents, to another he gave two thousand talents, and to the third, he gave one thousand, “depending on his abilities”. When the man returned, he found that two of the servants had used their talents wisely.  In fact, they had doubled the amount the man had given them!  However the third had only buried his talents.  While this servant was able to give back what was given to him, he had not used his talents wisely; the man told him he could have done so much more if he had only stepped out on faith, instead of being afraid of disappointing him.

This is an awesome picture of what our Father can do with that which he invests in each one of us.  The Bible tells us that God gives each of us certain “abilities” to use to further HIS message.  When we invest these abilities (talents) for the GLORY of GOD, He can then multiply them many times over, not only in our lives, but in the lives of those who we minister to. 

The men, women, boys and girls who make up A.C.T.S. (Anchored in Christ through Theatrical Services) exhibit this attitude as they lead in praise and worship, not for their own glory, but solely for the GLORY of the FATHER.

It is the collective desire of A.C.T.S, To present the message of Jesus Christ. Partnering with others tearing down the barrier of ethnicity, denominations, age, and social differences, exhibiting the attitude of being One for Christ Jesus. “ONE WORSHIP, ONE FAITH”  taking the form of short Dramatic Skits, Vocal Soloist, Ensembles, Dance and Mime, to minister and pierce the heart in a unique method, while sharing his LOVE for us all.

We at A.C.T.S. have made a quality decision to use OUR talents for the Kingdom. Allowing the Father to speak through us.
