If asked to sum this boy up in 3 words you'd find it rather hard, but to say ... loveable, charming and liability and you get an idea! Wearing the crown of Mr Ancaster 2006, Alex did the hall proud coming a fantastic joint 2nd in Mr.Nottingham. Despite the whole hall seeing EVERYTHING on this most prestigious of nights, we still love our Alex. He is one of the most genuine guys you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting, a friend through and through Alex promises to be a fantastic rep.
A word of warning however, never play 'I have never' with Mr.Chew as his drunken antics have left him with enough stories to keep only himself drinking for an hour, and to challenge this man to a drinking contest could be described quite simply as foolish. Sampling Alex in his full glory is usually accomplished with his funnel, megaphone, ginger charm and, most importantly, banter, in hand ... he is the one you need to make any night epic.

Anna is definitely the powerhouse of the Ancaster Karni team and we would wonder where she got all her energy from except for her habbit to remain in bed for days at a time. Anna attacks rag-raids with huge amounts of enthusiasm and is certainly set to be one of the main reasons why Ancy will remain one of the best collecting teams in Karni.
Anna has the ability to talk to anyone about anything and was one of the most welcoming and friendly people an Ancy last year. Subsequently Anna spends a lot of her time talking and is fantastic at bringing groups of people together and generally just getting people involved.
It is impossible to lose Anna on a night out, indeed in my entire first year she was never seen anywhere but on the dance-floor podium or at the bar. Subsequently, Anna is our teams Bump ‘N Grind expert. Anna is not by nature a big drinker although she has an unnerving habit of forgetting this crucial fact after the first few have been consumed. Indeed if any freshers are in doubt of what is and what isn’t acceptable behavior on a karni cruise just talk to Anna for a few pointers.
Dr. James is legendary, a presence whom everyone is drawn to. You meet him once, you never forget him ...
at the Karn-idge / Karni interface, he is at the frontier of the Ancaster Karni revolution! Nominated as our Banter Rep, you'll soon see why. James is more than a pretty face, as a medic he manages to juggle a heavy workload with one of the busiest social lives Ancaster has seen. Looking rather too comfortable as the most elaborate 'hula girl' known to mankind, James can work his socks off when required on a rag raid. Give him a tin, and he'll soon be asking (in an Irish accent?!) for money from anyone and everyone.
On the dance floor James is the dance partner you want, he can give Ricky Martin a run for his money! He's a friend through anything, with qualities we all should aspire to. If you are a ginger pirate however, fear this man.

This girl is one in a million! A Karni rep through to the core, she can collect like a machine, party the night away and is often the last one in the club ... but most importantly of all she really cares. She's always there for a chat and can have you giggling in seconds however your feeling. Caz is guaranteed to be around when you really need her, whether thats with chocolate and an ear to listen, or a bottle of vodka and oceana tickets for a more traditional form of therapy!
The only thing you can possibly fault this girl for is that your fingers are never safe while she's around! (She once broke Rachael's, and we'll never let her forget it... ) She should be named the Queen of Campus 14, having once completed it sober which is possibly the most impressive achievment in the history of the event. And once she begins on the karni cocktail theres no stopping her ... walking to the ark with a merry Caroline, theres nothing like it except walking to the ark with a merry Caroline dressed like a moulin rouge show girl!
6'1'' with a personality to match, this girl is a tall order to beat and an asset to the Ancaster Karni team. We love our Caroline, and so will you!!
Mr Jonny Farmer, he describes himself as a pisshead and that he is. Rarely seen away from a club or a bar after 7, this guy has impressive energy and stamina for going out and staying out. Doing one of the most hardcore courses out there though, Jonny is always back on campus at lectures for 9am which is probably what makes this guy so special. Jonny's always up for a good time, but knows how to work it when he needs to. You might say this is why he makes such a fantastic Karni rep, and our team quite simply wouldn't be the same without him.
Its the way home from a rag raid that Jonny loves, and with an aptitude for Karni Cocktail brewing, you'll find him at the front of the bus making it strong. That is until he moves towards the back, preparing to grace the ark with his presence. Jonny will be found singing loud, and drinking them swiftly.

Rachael is the Northern Lass of the group, the masses love her! To simply hear 'Ancy Ranger' sung with that Geordie twang is a good enough reason to have this girl on board, but of course this is one of many reasons why she is a member of the elite Ancaster Karni.
Rach began Ancastrian life as a fresher back in September 05 along with the rest of us, but got a bit more involved with week one than most! This passion for getting involved, even in the small things, resonates throughout her life at Nottingham thus far ... she can be spotted on all nights out, whether she's rag raiding the following morning, having to trek over to a random hospital placement the next day or she's got 5000 words to write for a 4.00pm deadline. She's there.
Rach is an absolute star, we love her dearly, she's as integral part of the group as Wenda is to Ancy's catering team!!! She can collect for Britain, looks stunning as a blond as proved when Ancaster rinsed Nottingham, looks even more stunning as a brunette pink cowgirl and is another shining star. A team player, need I say more?
