David Lewis was brought on staff in early 2006. David is a Canadian Citizen, but his true home is Kenya, where he was born and spent the first nine years of his life. He has education in Communication Arts and Theatre Arts. David gained some experience with teaching in Missouri, where he worked in secondary and elementary schools. His goal is to work with the board of All Nations Academy to design and build a school that will truly give the students a hope for a better life.
Christina Lewis was brought on to staff with her husband David. Christina comes from the United States of America. She has her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, and is Registered in several of the States in USA. By joining the staff of All Nations Academy Christina gives us the opportunity to offer free immunization and basic health care to the students, as well as health education.
All Nation's Academy is sponsored by the Pentecostal Evangelistic Fellowship of Africa, and strives to hold fast to our Christian beliefs. Daniel is an excellent pastor, who also pastors a small church on the island. He teaches one class a week that focuses not only on Christianity, but religious understanding and tolerance.
Charles Hussein - Administrative Assistant:
Charles Hussein works in the school office and helps Mr. Lewis in administration. He works closely with our work-study program, in which parents who can not afford school fees have the opportunity to work at the school for a few hours a week and their children will be able to get a high quality education. Mr. Hussein also works with students who are struggling in their studies to ensure that they do not fall behind.
Victoria Issack - Standard 4
Victoria is has had many years experience teaching secondary school here in Tanzania, and is enjoying her time teaching younger children; helping them build a firm foundation. Victoria also enjoys trying out new teaching styles that are required when working with our American Curriculum.
Kelvin Mwageni - Standard 3
Kelvin is one of our latest additions to All Nation's Academy. Although he has never taught in a formal school setting before, he has done some one on one education. He is very excited about this opportunity to learn more about education.
Immaculate Honde - Standard 2:
Immaculate has been with All Nation's Academy since we opened our doors. Immaculate is often the "unofficial" ambassador for the school, visiting the various functions related to our students.
Domina Mollel - Standard 1:
Domina Mollel has also been with the school since it was founded. She was our nursery class teacher last year, but enjoys the new challenge of teaching more advanced material.
Roseline Adhimabo - Nursery:
Roseline is our newest addition to the teaching staff. She is originally from Kenya but has taught Nursery in Zanzibar most recently.
Zechariah Habina
Zechariah is working hard to get our computer labs operating at their peak potential. Zechariah has studied computers here in Zanzibar and enjoys sharing his love for computers with the children (and staff). In an environment where children do not have PCs at home, the computer lab will help our students become computer literate.
Isaac Mcheri - Adult English:
All Nation's Academy is proud to have an evening English course for adults. This course allows our neighbours a chance to learn English as well.
