Anatidae - Ducks!
This is for you. And me, of course.
WELL COME !
Here you are, the site all dedicated to the animals belonging to the family of Anatidae, what we usually call ducks, but where also swans, geese, mallards and many other charming creatures belong.
The interest in ducks can be troubling to explain - if you happen to feel a special bond with these feathery individuals, that's something to be happy for and live with. And if you have to ask, you'll simply never know. Feel free to look around the page or ask ducky questions, knowing perhaps, that you're not alone.

About us
At young age our Godess of Eyebrows (founder) Iris Anks felt a very special connection with these creatures, so obviously self-satisfied and sarcastic, identifying herself with the LaughLab experiment claiming ducks to be the animals mostly connected with silliness and jokes. She slowly read more about them and begun to uncounsciously view herself as part of their community; no longer does she or her companions react when a duck comes up to her on the street and speaks to her.

29th April, 2008 - Members and Birthdays!
Today is the day of Erli's birthday, and the 18th was our own Goddess Of Eyebrows's. And honouring this, we have very properly added to mysterious characters to our member list. Welcome them in the guestbook!
14th April, 2008 - Happy Belated Birthday Visvaldis!
Yesterday our very much praised pigeon-photographer and traveller Visvaldis en Duva (honorary Columbidae) aged one year. Relatives and friends, among those Pelin † and Iris the Goddess Of Eyebrows attended her little assembly - party. It was a spelndid evening.
I too, was there and hid behind the scenes, serving cake and taking pictures.
This news section is updated, and we will sooner or later add information about ducks, and eventually links. Thank you.
