The name of this first song is "Let Me" (copyright by Amy Swanson, 7/98). This is in two parts... the first file is my reason for writing this song, and in a way also an intro for this CD collection. The second file is the song itself. I hope you enjoy it.

This song is "Just a Mom" (copyright by Amy Swanson, 6/2002). I chose to use my large LP Conga with this one, to give a bit softer feel. I wrote this song when my little girl was 2...she is the sunshine of my soul, right after God Himself. This is for every mom who ever wondered if she was missing out on life by staying home with her baby, or was ever made to feel that she was less of a person because she didn't bring home a paycheck... because she was "just a mom."
This song I wrote for my own sweet husband - I hope you will enjoy playing it for your honey too.
This is, I guess you could say, a Coffee House Praise blooper! It was just too funny to not put up here for you guys. I will just say that this is a TYPICAL DAY in the life of a songwritin' mom! This song in particular... it came to me and I was playing around with it, hadn't written it down yet but I decided to start recording and see how it went but I got stopped short! (You moms will especially appreciate this laugh!)

The following song is "A Heartbeat Away" (copyright by Amy Swanson, 5/95). This song refers to a situation of a very delicate nature one girl found herself in... it is not to condemn anyone, not by any means at all! This is a good news song. It is to remind us that the love of God can find us, no matter what dark areas we have found ourselves in. None is perfect, only God. God forgives... and His forgiveness is here for you no matter what you may have done or where you may have wandered!
