First Team Squad Vs Osbaldwick 12th January 2008
The Website was created in February 2004 by then player Matty Hood, and following his return to the club in July 2005 as first team manager the website has developed. This season sees the club turn to player sponsorship in order to bring in extra funds to the first team. The club will have have around 30-40 different sponsors this season.
2008/09 Season
The Club has seen many new changes this season, We now have four teams at the club. Amotherby & Swinton 1sts & Reserves play in the York League Division One and Reserve C with both teams looking once again this season after just falling short last term
Matty Hood and Jon MacLeod are in charge of the first team and both are FA Level 2 Coaches. Neil Audsley is now in his 4th year as Reserve Team boss and has also taken on the responsibilty of League Secretary.
The 3rd and 4th Teams both will compete in the Ryedale Beckett League Division Two this season. Matt Hill has taken charge of the 3rd team with his assistants Liam Rapp and Steve Fraser, Matt will be looking at improving on their league position. The 4th team is the latest addition to Amotherby & Swinton FC, after an increasing number of players joining the club, Keiran Wall has taken charge and will share the management role with Dave Pugh who has managed Old Malton 4ths for the past few seasons.
The Club is looking forward to another improving season on and off the pitch, with teams hoping for promotions on the field while off it, the club is starting to work hard to improve facilties where the main pitch at the BSA Arena will have Dugouts and will also be roped off making it upto Premiership standard.
