St. Lucia 4H Programs serve youth across

St. Lucia, in communities of every size. Building on more than a century of helping youth develop leadership, citizenship and life skills, 4H is evolving more rapidly than ever to meet the needs of youth 5 to 35yrs of age.

Youth who participate in 4H Programs:

* Build self confidence through mastery of skills and public speaking

* Expand their understanding of Citizenship and Government

* Learn to work colloboratively with their peers

4H is a non Political rurual Youth organisation initially formed in the USA in 1902. The Idea of the organisation was brought to St. Lucia from Florida Peace Corps Volunteers in the 60's.

HEAD, HEART, HAND and HEALTH are the four H's in 4H and they are the four values our members and affiliates work on through fun and engaging in projects.

Each 4H'er defines their own 4H experience so the possibilities are endless.

We have taken the best of what we have always done and made it better.
