Hi, welcome to Am-Erica's Cocker Spaniels! I am a licensed nurse by profession, but my passion is raising parti color cocker spaniels & I also enjoy taking them to dog shows occasionally. Today my whole family is involved at some level, but it all started out back in 1990 when I was a teen. I bought an older female out of the newspaper for $50. No, I did not breed her, I started out just loving them. Several years went by and then in 1998 I acquired my first "show dog" and I started to going to some dog shows. I bred my first litter in 1999. From extremely limited breeding experience, came my first home bred champion! CH.Am-Erica's National Anthem aka "Andy", finished his championship from the puppy classes in 2004, his mom was my original foundation female. I must thank my husband, Brent, for tolerating so many steps into something wet on the floor, driving me across country to get a puppy, handing his paycheck to me so I can pay my vet bill, and for his love and support.
We are dedicated to health soundness, and merry temperaments.
We specialize exclusively in the parti color variety, with an emphasis of preserving and promoting of quality sable parti colors.
