The book is mainly about the ethics of transgenics. The main characters are Eli (narrator), Kayla Matheson, Vivian Fadiman, Quincy Wyatt, and Eli's father.
I like the suspenceful nature of this book as well as the writing style. The conclusion stunned me, and if you like thrillers, then this is the book for you! The writer described everything so vividly that I found myself wanting to scream at Wyatt when it came to the part where he expressed his opinions on human nature.
