The Writing World Of Amanda Evans

Amanda J. Evans is a freelance writer and the author of "From Those Death Left Behind" a book dedicated to promoting suicide awareness.  This is her website where you can view some of her articles and poetry, delve into her writing life, and request her freelance services.

From Those Death Left Behind tells the story of how a tragic death through suicide effected the lives of three members of one family.  This book contains poetry and letters from three of the family members as they struggle to survive and learn to live again.  From Those Death Left Behind is available from Lulu.com and 50% of all proceeds is being donated to the various suicide awareness and prevention organisations worldwide.

I began writing when I was 15 years old as a way of dealing with things that were effecting my life.  My writing consisted mainly of poetry and shortstories but it was something that I felt really passionate about and I knew then that this is what I wanted to do with my life.  Life, however, has ways of making you change your choices and it was only in 2005 that I finally began to follow my dream of writing.  I began to publish my poems on various poetry websites and was surprised by the overwhelming success I received.  I have had my poems published in various anthologies and have recieved awards from www.poetry.com and The International Poets Society. 

I registered with ezinearticles and achieved expert author status within days.  I also joined Elance.com and began freelancing.  Since then I have set up my own company "Quality Freelance Services" and things have gone from strength to strength.

I believe that writing is an art and a gift that you are born with.  For me writing is an escape and a way to express emotions that can sometimes be hard to explain.
