We are delighted to announce that Steve Royle has confirmed that he will be our Compere for the evening's entertainment. Steve Royle is an actor, writer, and most recently a regular presenter on BBC Radio Lancashire. His Saturday morning 9 till 12 show is a huge treat! Steve has just completed another enjoyable few months as Special Guest on Dave Spikey's "Living The Dream Tour". Last year saw Steve's stand-up work go ballistic. He is a regular headline act at the Comedy Store and other alternative venues, and performed alongside Steve Coogan and Peter Kay at the Apollo Theatre, Manchester. During the last few years Steve has supported Peter Kay many times; He has toured with Dave Spikey on his ‘Overnight Success tour’, performed with the cast of ‘Phoenix Nights’ and Badly Drawn Boy to over five thousand people at the Europa Festival in Manchester, and up until last year, performed every summer as ‘Mad Edgar’, a jester character he invented ten years ago. Big Hands can assure you all, you are guaranteed a fabulous night with Steve at the helm! |
